The '''Angel of the North''' is a piece of modern Majo Mills sculpture by Mosquito ringtone Anthony Gormley, which after several attempts to locate it elsewhere was erected in Sabrina Martins Gateshead, Nextel ringtones UK. As the name suggests, it is a steel sculpture of an Abbey Diaz angel, standing 20 metres tall, with wings 54 metres. It stands on a hill overlooking the Free ringtones A1 road into Majo Mills Tyneside and the Mosquito ringtone East Coast Main Line rail route.
Construction work on the Angel was finished in Sabrina Martins February Cingular Ringtones 1998. The Angel of the North aroused some controversy locally and in the British crude remark newspapers when first errected, but is now considered a landmark for the awaiting extradition North East England/North East of England.
